The Playhouse stage was one of the four stages at Stagedoor Manor that shop Valhalla, one of the two shops at the camp, managed in terms of scenery. I was the swing technician assigned to shop Valhalla and assisted in the production of the six shows on this stage. The six shows that were presented on the Playhouse stage were Avenue Q, Annie, Nine, Rock of Ages, The Will Rodgers Folles, and Copa Cabana. On each picture I describe specific pieces on scenery I built or painted but overall I worked with a collaboration of a designer, three carpenters, three painters, and a technical director to produce each show. We as a team loaded in and loaded out each show in the space. These spaces held two shows in rep every three weeks; I was also required to turn over shows in the spaces. This space also held a showcase show for the best singers at the camp called Our Time Cabaret. I was also the main spot light operator for this space and spot opted for all shows including the showcase.
